Tell us your story.

My career is based in b2b publishing, and over the past ten years, custom media for national associations.

As with all innovation, the inspiration comes from identifying a need, whether from within your organization or from your clients, and from that the solution is built.

And while it is often said, it is about listening. Being open, probing, and never settling for how things are now, but how they can be better and more profitable in the future.

History is a wonderful testament, all innovation is based on identifying a need in the marketplace. It is what makes business, at this particular point, so exciting, Any discussion can lead to new products, platforms and digital ecosystems that will more fully enrich and empower our clients and employees.

The caveat... leadership must be open and responsive to these solutions and be willing to see beyond where they are right at now, but where they can take their clients and organizations in the future.

What do you most want other women and young girls to know about being a woman in our digital culture?

Never, at any time in history, has there been more parity for woman. The digital culture is not cut along gender lines, because technology and the digital culture is based on ideas, solutions, and innovation.

Never cease to educate, ask questions, seek what is of value for your client and be fearless as a steward of what is possible.

Woman can be the architects, and are, of our digital media landscape. We are only limited by our ideas and strength of purpose to make them a reality.

The Women in Tech campaign exists to help redefine what women in technology means in the 21st century. Started independently by a group of professional women who, after many impassioned discussions about women in tech knew we wanted to expand this definition beyond 'traditional' technology skills. To us, it includes most every current, emerging or evolving role within an organization. By featuring leaders and emerging leaders across industries who embody this we hope to collectively 'stand up', be proud of our place in the digital world and inspire young women or those new to the 'tech space' to get involved.
